Welcome to KidTalk Telehealth Speech Therapy

Experience, Partnership, and Purpose — Meet Neala

Hi, I’m Neala, a licensed speech-language pathologist and the founder of KidTalk. I specialize in providing child communication support to toddlers and young children through play-based Telehealth speech therapy. I firmly believe that meaningful progress occurs when parents are true partners in the therapy process.

Early in my career, I spent many years working at a school for children with special needs, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting diverse learners facing various communication challenges. For over 30 years, I have been dedicated to Early Intervention, collaborating with families during some of the most crucial developmental years of their child’s life.

In 2005, I transitioned to private practice and embraced a more personalized, family-centered therapy approach—one that emphasizes real-life communication, practical strategies, and empowering caregivers.

I adopted the Telehealth model during the COVID-19 pandemic. When in-person therapy resumed, I quickly realized how much I valued parent coaching and true collaboration with families. I witnessed the powerful impact of having parents actively involved as partners in therapy.

This experience transformed my practice. I believe in Telehealth because it works. When parents partner with me, I observe significant and lasting improvements in children’s communication skills. Telehealth enables me to coach parents in real time, integrating support into their child’s natural routines, utilizing familiar toys, spaces, and everyday interactions. Progress continues beyond the sessions, enriching daily life.

Currently, I primarily work through Telehealth, as it allows me to offer therapy that is practical, empowering, and family-centered. At KidTalk, therapy is a partnership; you are never expected to sit back and watch—together, we build your confidence and enhance your child’s communication skills.

KidTalk proudly serves families in NY, NJ, NC, FL, and CA through secure, HIPAA-compliant Telehealth sessions. In addition to holding licenses in multiple states, I also possess a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.

If you’re curious whether your child may benefit from child communication support or are ready to get started, I’d love to connect.
